If you are a long time reader of this blog I must sincerely apologise for the length of time between blog posts.

The reason is that much of my time is now being spent on a project that I have been working on for almost 3 years that will launch in the early part of 2014.

This project is called BookPals and it is by far the most exciting project I have worked on in the time that I have been running my own business.

BookPals is an idea that came about as a result of the Business Owners Coaching Program that I did with Gordon Kay of Doing Biz back in 2010.

Put simply, BookPals will totally change the way in which you collate your business records.

BookPals is a Cloud based document recording solution and when it first launches it will focus on business bookkeeping, but as it grows it will allow you to record all manner of documentation.

Best of all, BookPals is focussed on making business bookkeeping so quick and simple that anyone will be able to use it in a fraction of the time that it takes to use existing systems currently on the market and you will not need to understand accounting principles to use it.

This is why it has taken almost 3 years to produce the product - we are committed to making your business life just that little bit easier by using BookPals, so we are painstakingly going over the system to ensure that it meets our promise to you.

To give you an idea of what we are doing here, why not check out the BookPals website and have a listen to the BookPals Business Sanity podcast series that has recently launched, where you will meet people that can assist you in making your business life just that little bit easier.

The people being interviewed in this podcast series range from local business owners that are making a real impact in their chosen field right through to the co-owners of the biggest management podcast in the world, so the podcast series is really worth checking out.

As you can imagine, the time it takes to work on a project of this size means that other things in one's life need to be put on the "back burner" and this is why the blog posts here are taking longer to appear, but I have come up with what I believe is an appropriate solution.

Moving forward, as the information on the BookPals site grows, I will let you know about them on this blog and through our social media sites.

The content that BookPals is putting out is very similar to the content you have grown used to receiving here, so I am sure you will get the same - if not more - value out of the BookPals blog posts.

Of course, if ever you need specific information about MYbookkeeping Services products and services all you need to do is contact us and we will always be here to help.
